Dionysus & Female Companion, a pair of Grand tour busts.

A pair of romanticism busts of the highest quality, after the antique by Leone Clerici, Italy,1882. 

Clerici specialised in reproducing famous antique sculptures, working from his studio in Rome, and his work was in great demand. 

The handsome Dyonisus is god of wine & entertainment, he is depicted with grape vines in his hair, after the original in the Vatican collection, his female companion was a later addition.

Awesome seller

My statues of Dionysus and Companion are exquisite. I love the beautiful detail. They shipped pretty quickly and packaged with great care. The seller was very focused on getting them to me without any problems. I highly recommend them and their products
