With or without candles this handed pair of detailed marble mythical dolphins will adorn fire place mantel ends to perfection.

Sculptured Arts Studio took inspiration in the creation of these from the sculptures made for the Piazzo del Popolo, Rome, by Giovanni Ceccarini 1822, which were commissioned by Pope Leo XII, the group of figures consist of the fountain of Neptune, and Goddess Rome.

Neptune, the lord of the seas and oceans is accompanied by two statues of tritons who sit at the feet of the sovereign resting on the dolphins.
