A very finely detailed marble portrait Bust of Wellington, by one of the leading British Victorian portrait artists.

Pitts exhibited at the Royal academy between 1842 and 1870, and made many commissioned portrait busts of famous and leading British personalities including Prince Albert, Nelson and Peel.
