The death of Nelson, a wall plaque.

A sculptured decorative marble plaque depicting the fatal wounding of Nelson.

This is one of the four plaques based at the foot of Nelson`s column in London.

The square pedestal at the bottom of Nelson`s Column is decorated with four bronze panels, cast from captured French guns, depicting Nelson's four great victories in 1842.

These panels were undertaken by the sculptors, Musgrave Watson, John Temouth, William F Woodington, and John Edward Carew.
