Also known as the Florentine Boar, this famous animal sculpture can be seen as monumental public statues throughout Italy, and Europe, even as local to us, as Derby.

The original Greek sculpture has long since gone missing, but during the 17th century the Italians made a marble copy ‘Cinghiale’ which is housed in the Uffizi Gallery in Florence.
