Venus De Milo Bust Lrg
A marble bust of the Aphrodite of Milos statue, better known as the Venus de Milo, an ancient Greek statue and one of the most famous ancient marble works of art.
Created at some time between 130 and 100 BC, it is believed to depict Aphrodite, Venus to the Romans.
The Greek goddess of love and beauty, statue, who's arms and original plinth have never been found, has become world renown.
From an inscription that was recorded as, being on the plinth, it is the work of Alexandros of Antioch, it was first thought the original statue was by master sculptor Praxiteles.
It is at present on display at the Louvre in Paris.
